The Original Story Festival, or the OS Fest as I've fondly been calling it, is meant to be a celebration of the stories that your friends have been working on, and a way to help support them by spreading fanart based off of their creation through DevART.

Hopefully by doing this, we can bolster interest in the stories among the thousands of artists on this site.

So how can you be a part of the OS Fest? Simple. All you have to do is draw a piece of fanart for your friend's story. It can be a full-colored masterpiece or a sketch (my personal idea was to make a series of 'movie posters' based off the stories ). You can follow a theme throughout all of your pieces, or go at them at random.

You can even finish off your collection of art by leading up to a few special pieces of your own creation.

Rules
1. The first, and most important rule, is to insure that credit is given where credit is due. Before drawing your art, make sure that you have the creator's permission (unless you are completely certain that they will not mind you drawing fanart for their story). When you submit your deviation to the site, make sure that it is clear in the Artist's Notes that the characters and the world depicted are not your own.
2. A minimum of ten art pieces should be made. A majority of these should be art based off of other peoples' stories, not just your own.
3. There is no deadline for the festival.
4. The art should be appropriate for viewers and nothing that the creator should feel embarrassed of. This art is meant to capture the essence of their story, not degrade it.

As you finish a piece, you can leave a link in the comment or send a note and I will post the art pieces in this journal. Maybe if the festival gets big enough, we can make our own Collection.
